went to london with the uni this weekend just passed. we had two and a half days to cram as much into our "cultural exploration" as we could. there was no itinerary for us so we got to do our own thing. it was pretty great. sore on the feet. it was definitely an excuse for a couple of our tutors to get away from their families and get drunk and see a west end show or a thrash band. james and i were super organised and managed to see 90% of the stuff we wanted. we spent the weekend a lot less hungover than our classmates but our feet were probably equally as delicate as their heads and stomachs on the train ride home. it was quite nice not being the photographer for this adventure cos it means we now have loads of photos of bits of my head with bits of london landmarks (bit of an evolution from charlotte's and my london adventure) we saw matisse's cut outs and textiles by dali and picasso and miro and we saw a big blue cockerel in trafalgar square and the moomin shop and we watched eurovision on an iphone and we went to the science museum and zoology museum and the ICA and i bought a cheese slicer for a pound at bermondsey market!

THE FIRST EVER PHOTO OF EARTH FROM SPACE. so cool, i almost cried.

actual human nerves laid out on a table and varnished. dreamy!
and then we went to the grant museum of zoology, the greatest place on earth.
it was so busy compared to last time... people were congregating around the jar of moles it was so annoying.
